Gut wrenching, hilarious, and unique stories focusing on horrors both man-made and beyond human comprehension.

It seems like the world we live in grows less familiar, and more terrifying, by each passing day. We can allow these fears to continuously divide us, as they have time and time again. Or, we choose to face our fears; to laugh at them, learn from them, and be entertained by them. Together.

From everyday man made terrors like climate change and poverty, to unexplainable horrors that live between the cracks of our own rationality: no two episodes will feel the same. The ability to experience and unpack the things that make us scared or uncomfortable is essential for our survival, now more than ever.

Top Ten Reasons to Invest in Wholesome Nightmares

1. Horror is more popular than ever.

2. The anthology format allows for dynamic opportunities: each story can vary in length, settings, actors, budget etc, on an episode by episode basis.

3. Potential for individual episodes to have spin-offs, sequels, etc.

4. Horror’s appeal as a genre now has an even wider age range than ever, thanks to properties like Stranger Things, Five Nights At Freddy’s, Back Rooms etc.

5. Wholesome Nightmares can therefore leverage the success of these previous works to continuously grow and develop as large of an audience demographic as possible.

6. Episodes could implement a “sliding scale” age rating system that helps filter episodes in terms of suitability for older or younger audiences, to further maximize audience demographics.

7. Opportunity for diverse collaborations with other filmmakers, artists, and storytellers.

8. Locations minimal for each of the featured episodes.

9. 1 episode is already produced (The Slow Death) and is currently enjoying critical success.

10. Our presently divided world will benefit greatly from a new property that, in addition to being fun, scary, and unique, has a message at its core of embracing and learning from the unpleasantries inherent to the human experience.
